Convention & Media Inaugural Futsal Challenge 2009

Nine media teams compete with teams from the Convention industry, including Sarawak Convention Bureau and Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, at the inaugural Convention and Media Futsal Challenge at Arena Sukan. Participating media teams are Cats Radio, RTM, Berita Harian, Borneo Post, Media and Telecommunication Corporate Division Malaysia Information Department, Utusan Borneo, Utusan Sarawak, Mingguan Sarawak and Film Negara Malaysia.

The Sarawak Convention Bureau chieft executive Jilly Henry graced the opening with Harry the Hornbill before proceeding to the playing field to witness the kick off between Sarawak Convention Bureau Team and kids from Sk Kenyalang, aged from 9 to 11. Apart from the games, side activites include : Ice-cream eating competition, Ping-pong, Juggling Competition, musical chairs for both adults & kids and Target Practice.
